Answer: Hi My cabinets are a french pastry color and the island is black. The granite is a mixture of black brown white, green, with streaks of gold in some areas(juparana vyara). My walls and the back splash are taupe beige. I want to paint the breakfast nook but I am not sure which color would work. I would also like to know which colors to use for window treatments and kichen accessories.

Answer: Welcome Denise. I personally feel that gray is a fairly neutral color and easy to work with. What style and color are your hardcase pieces? A bit more information would be helpful.

Answer: I need to paint the whole downstairas and upstairs of a open floor plan. I want a color that will go with everything, but I dont want white. I would like a lenox china color, but I cant seem to find it. I have plum couches and sage green and yelloe accent. I bought 7 quarts of paint and none of them look right on my walls. Too bright. HELP.

Answer: To Gloria: Check out my favorite paint colors under the "colors" or "painting" section of Q & A. Maybe one of them will work for you. I have seen Lenox china in many colors, so I'm not sure which pattern of lenox china you're referring to.
