Sharon, You sometimes get more answers by posting a new question instead of posting as a response on someone else question.
I have my china cabinet displayed with the plates standing up in the plate groove against the back of the cabinet. I have two plates standing on the top shelf and three across on the second shelf. In front of the plates on the top shelf I have three groupings of crystal. They are arranged in groups of three like in a triangle design. Taller glass slightly rear of the two in front flanking the taller glass.
On the second shelf, I arrangeed my cups on the saucers in the same sort of triangle design. Placing three sets on one side of the shelve and three on the other side, but you could do three groups of three across the shelf, depends on the width of the cabinet. On lower shelf I have stacked dessert plates and salad plates and possibly more cups, if I have them.
I think grouping the similar objects is preferable than single file rows like you might do in a kitchen cabinet.
Check some of the previous posts in the section. There might be more answers. |
