Answer: Is waynescote ok to use in the bathroom?

Answer: Yes, you can use it in the bathroom, in a hallway, most any room. The chair rail at the top is meant to save the Sheet rock from damage/nicks from dining room chair backs etc., I find a height of approx 36 to 39 inches above the floor about right. I have adjusted the height in bathrooms if I am concerned that the height might not look right behind the height of the sink or as it meets the bottom of the window sill. In a bathroom, you will want to consider the placement of the towels bars as well. Above your wainscoting? Or on it?
