Name: Vicki Title of Question: Hot water heater ideas
Question: My laundry room is exposed and I have decorated my washer and dryer with sponge paint and a decorative wall border on top and bottom - very cute. What can I do for my hot water heater? A decorative cover?

Answer: I'm in the same situation. I'm thinking of buying a regular insulated waterheater cover and sewing material resembling Vera Bradley designs on to the outside. Just a thought...what do you think?

Answer: Can you make a decorative wooden screen to hide it? I'd be worried about the fabric close to the heater, no?

Answer: Well, the insulation is wrapped around the actual water heater. I would simply be putting the fabric on the outside. The water heater is electric and the cord comes out of the top where there would not be insulation or fabric. Thought of a wooden screen, but I want to be a little unique.
