Question: I like the color purple and have a purple bed spread i have black stands and cream carpet i don't konw what color wallpaper to get or what kind of theme to used! i need help |

I would personally forego using wallpaper. Consider a border, wallies or a faux paint technique. Any of these suggestions can be easily ans inexpensively changed for future decorating changes. I feel that wallpaper often limits one. With the colors mentioned you could go in a couple different directions. First of all my favorite-French Country. Add in a tiole fabric done in lilac or lavender and cream Be sure to add some wrought iron in as well. Use artwork depicting lilac, heather and countryside villas. Your frames could be either in black or a copper wash. Or you could go Modern/Contemporary. Continue the use of black as well as some shades of gray. Use bold colored abstract artwork with black matting or frames. Be sure to use an area rug to add color to the floor as well as add texture and dimension. |
