Question: I am decorating my small livingroom in the contemporary style. My focal point is my sofa, a standing lamp on each side and a big mirror behind the sofa. on the other side of the room in the corner is a tv on a dark wood stand. on one of the walls behind the tv, I have a cluster of 2 shelves and 3 picture frames. The frames and shelves are simple designs, but I don't want it to be overkill being that it isn't my focal point. Any knowledge to spare on decorating rules regarding this? Thanks, Kristi
