Question: I wanted to know what are the first steps in paint over you entertainment center. It is black and the rest of my furniture in maple.I wasa trying to use cloure of sage an d maple but i'm not to sure about black.

Answer: Black is a color constantly used by many. Im not sure what color u are preferring to, but the sound of it attracts me. U go girl.

Answer: There is a paint by Krylon- creative concepts, available at Walmart for around $8.00 a quart. It has very good coverage, is quick drying and leaves no brush marks (self leveling). It comes in many colors. I cant say enough about the product. I have used it on many projects and it is wonderful to work with. Were you looking to paint it a maple color then sage over that?
