Title of Question:
Master Bath |
|
Question: I have green faux marble vinly floors, gray appliances, oak cabinet and teal green counters in my master bath. I am not a fan of grays. I prefer beiges, greens, golds, yellows. I am looking for an Old World feel in this room. My master bedroom has beige walls/carpets and hand painted yellowish furniture. Any ideas on how to get the look I want and tie these rooms together? |

| Answer:
Typically one would paint the master bath a color from the same paint chip. I think that a beige would compliment the green nicely. Beige undertones can be yellow or pink. Lean more towards one with the yellow undertone. Burnished/oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware will also help to carry through with the look you desire. Add luxurious bath towels in the deeper shades that you prefer such as the gold and brown . |

| Answer:
I would start by replacing the vinyl floor with a more neutral color and a less busy pattern. Update the lighting and the faucets and yes, the oil rubbed bronze is perfect for that old world look. Add towels in your favorite colors. |
