Name: Jess Title of Question: Mixing different kinds of flooring
Question: I have an open concept bungalow backsplit. From the front door you can see the living room, (which is a honey coloured hardwood). the 4 stairs it takes to get up to the kitchen(a light laminate wood)and the diningroom and hallway to the bedrooms. The stairs, the diningroom and the hallway are horrible seafoam green stained carpet. The carpet has got to go! What do I put in it's place that works with the other flooring and won't cost a fortune. I don't want carpet. Also separating the livingroom and dining room is honey coloured wood railing.Help!
