Which I don't really like but it is not in the budget at this time to change. For the last few years I have sunflower decor. I like my kithen to have a more classy look. What are the elements in the din rm that make up the blue and rose? Blue paint on walls or flower wallpaper? What are the window treatments? Carpet or hardwod? Din. Rm furniture style? Same with kitchen. What is the floor? What color are the cabinets? All you say are yellow counters. Sometimes significant changes to a room to change the look entirely is not possible unless you are able budget wise to change some larger elements. Otherwise, it's a matter of a fresh coat of paint and a new white window valance and a few new accessories like pot holders etc.
