Home : Q&A : Bedroom : Polka Dot Theme for Bedroom

Name: Kathy Title of Question: Polka Dot Theme for Bedroom
Question: We are moving into our new home in June of 2007. My daughter is 9 and she wants to decorate her room with polka dots on the wall. I bought her beddng with pink, blue, purple and green ad was going to match the colors at Home Depot or Lowes and paint one wall with large, medium and small circles (dots). How do I do this? Do I have to make a model? How can I ensure that the edges will be even when I paint the circles? Thank you.

Answer: You can also cut out the size of the circles you want out of craft paper and then after you make a stencle tape it to where you want the dots to begin and have fun make sure to make different sizes in the dots...

Answer: I stumbled upon your question while trying to locate some polka dot decor for my daughters bedroom. I found "Wall Pops" at Lowes... they're peel-n-stick reusable stickers in 13" circles or 13" squares. They don't damage the walls and come in an array of colors. I have a circle cutter and easily cut them into assorted sizes. Good luck. :)
