| Answer:
The size of your room as well as the size of your table are important. Most likley a 5 x 8 will fit right under the kitchen table. The dining room might be larger in size, so measure the room, you'll want at least a foot or two of hardwood or tile (wahtever your floor is) showing around the perimeter of the room. You also want the chairs comfortably sitting on the carpet as well as the table. |

| Answer:
The dining table is 60 inches in diameter and the kitchen table is 54 inches in diameter. The dining room is 13x13 and the kitchen eating area is a irregular shape, but approximately 9 feet 10 inches x 9 feet. The floor is hardwood. |

| Answer:
I would recommend you get a size that allows the table and chairs to completely fit on the carpet and yet still have a perimeter of at least one foot of hard wood showing.
For the kitchen, an eight foot round is probably the closest size for a round table. Or an eight by eight square.
And for the dining room, a 10 or 11 foot round carpet or 10 x 10 square or 11 x 11 square.
Use those approx measurements and with a tape measure see how each would fit,if the chairs were pulled away from the table to sit down. Then choose the best size.
