Question: I am fifteen years old, and I have a pretty small room. I am a total rocker chick, and pretty rebellious. My favorite colors involve black, but my grandmother won't allow me to paint my walls black. I love neon colors, and darm vampire colors. At the moment my walls are white, and have this really weird pear and flower wall paper on some parts. My band posters aren't doing to well to cover up, since I don't have alot. I want to redesign my room, but I don't want it to cost me a HUGE bundle...any ideas? Please and thankyou. |

Can you rent a steamer and remove the wallpaper? then maybe you could do a hot pink color on the walls and combine it with black accents. If pink is not your thing the bright apple green color is really in now and you could have black accents with that as well.
Look for accents in the wall color, like a hot pink lamp or the apple green lamp and hot glue some beads or some trim or accent that you like around the bottom of the shade.
Perhaps you can stripe the wall behing your bed, in wide stripes of the hot pink or the green and alternate with white. Lots of white will break up the intensity of the hot pink or the apple green and then a few black pillows with a few hot pink and black or the green and black pillows.
