Name: Cathy Title of Question: Window treatments for Arts & Crafts style home Question: We are currently restoring an old Arts & Crafts style home and want to decorate accordingly. My husband has reproduced the trim around all of the windows and doors, but now we can't figure out what kind of window treatments to use in the dining room. The windows are large casement ones - about 4' x 6'. The room is painted a shade of beige the top 3/5 of the room, and a sort of brick red at the bottom 2/5ths, with a chair rail separating the two colors. What kind of window treatments would look best? We don't want anything heavy and would like light to to be able to come in.
