bowl melted on burner dilemma! |

Question: I was'nt sure if this was thre right forum. But anyway i put a plastic bowl on one of my stove burners, the burner was not on, but the heat from the oven melted the bottom of the bowl. Now I am having a time removing the melted plastic. I even soaked it overnight, to no avail! any suggestions? |

is it the smooth top type cooktype or the coil type? The coil type can be easily repaced, just order a new one. The smooth top I'm not sure how to remove. |

Thanks for answering my question. It is the coil type. I was just trying to save a little money by cleaning it. I probably will end up replacing it. |
