Home : Q&A : Bedroom : ceiling fabric canopy

Title of Question:
ceiling fabric canopy |
|
Question: I once saw on one of the redesign shows on television someone cover a ceiling with fabric to make a Morrocan style tenting. I know they used something simple to hang this, but do you have any suggestions. I want to cover the ceiling in my son's lower level bedroom until we get the ceiling done, and to have something very different. Thank you, Victoria Begdorian |

| Answer:
Try using a simple rod with ends on them, screw cup holders into the studs, use simple chains to creat two heights, one at the head and one at the foot, them drape selected fabric over the rods above the bed. If you have enough fabric, you could allow a long end at the head of the bed for a headboard or accent behind the head board. |

| Answer:
I'm looking to decorate an entire ceiling with fabric. The look I want is something flowing, feminine canopy type and that would cover the entire ceiling. |
