Question: can yo give me some ideas how to decorate an infant girls room and also how to decorate a fie year old boys room. |

it depends on how old the girl is if quite young make room quite girly but also fun such as pinks and a fun bed such as one with a slide- you can get from places such as argos. Also make the room fun for your son something that he can be proud of use blues and maybe also a bed with a slide. and beanie chairs and pix of favourite characters. also a hammock for his toys |

The infant girl is not going to care for several years to decorate however you want - princess, ballet, dolls, etc. For the boy, consider what he's really into - sports, dinosaurs, trucks, super heroes - and go from there. |

Kathy I think for your infant girl's room you should do a light yellow with a mid tone blue.put in a desk for her to make crafts at .But make sure it is a very organized desk. this room will be great for her as a young child and when she is a teen. Also get her a very girly sunflower somferter.Also a blue nice backboard for the bed. Last but not least as a white canopy that way if she wants to change room as she gets older it will match. For the boy do his room in a bright red and A MID NIGHT BLUE. also ad in a desk just the same. Get some guy stuff to put in there ya know like hotwheels or base ball. he'll love it! |

A infent gurls room i would do in princess stuff lots of pink... and purples... A five year old boys rroom i;d say do it in sports or if he dosen't like sprts do it in... w.e he likes... like i dunno w.e he enjoys... so then he can enjoy his room at the same time |

As a professional decorator I have learned from my own experiences and mistakes. Never, never do a room in a nursery theme. You will tire of it in 6-8 months and wiil be looking to change it which can be expensive. Decorate your daughters room so that she can grow with it. Use a flowery comforter in pinks, blues, greens and yellows. Add stencils or Wallies in flowers, bugs, pixies or angels. Paint the walls a favorite color from the comforter. For your son involve him in the decision of decorating his room. Have him pick the theme or the primary or secondary color for the walls. He will be very proud of his room. Above all, be creative and enjoy. |

ask her what she likes (2 fave color, shape, show)etc 1 for the carpets 1 for the wall. if she likes dolls or animals get the poster of her fave doll or animal. be sure to have a shelf to her reach for books or toys, be sure to have a chair or beeny bag next to the shelf her to read. at the end of her bed have a chest for all her toys.

It depends on how old the girl is. If the girl is quite young you can paint it pink and fun beds when if you are to paint the room pink you can add pillows,blankets, and other stuff to make the room more exiting for the girl. you can pick her favorite character. For the boy you can put in blues and such as his favorite character too if you are to pick a character you can put a comforter to match it and so much more you can do also. Such as a toy box. |
