Question: I am looking for ideas on how to display hubbies award plaques in our basement den. We have 2 paneled walls that we would like to hang 2 rows of shelving or wide ledges with a strip to display his memorabilia. |

Your plan sounds good to me. I think it's best to keep all the awards in one area of the room instead of spreading them out all over the room. |

A display ledge is perfect. I agree that MOST of the items should be grouped together for impact but feel that you need to use them sparingly around the room as well. |

Decorating can be challenging because it is so subjective, like the taste of food. what one man likes another doesn't. So it's great to get feedback from people on ideas to try and then you see what works best for you. Sometimes you just need a new or different prospective.
the help you get here is limited as we can't see your room and what other furnishings you have. Does the room also function as an office? Then you'd want to add a few awards over the desk, as well.
