Answer: My daughter has the same theme in her room. We put bamboo blinds in her windows and made a topper of silk tropical greenery. For atr work, we copied pictures of jungle animals on to canvas paper at Kinkos, touched them up with acrylic paints and framed them in bamboo frames. Of course she has leopard skin print bedding and fur pillows and throw.

Answer: you could look at wallpaper murals online for maybe one of the walls and paint the others a color. you could also purchase jungle looking silk trees at different places to put in there. on the curtains you could use like raffia type fringe curtains across the top.

Answer: Personally I would avoid a paper or border. As people tire of these common elements. Paint the walls a lush green then add raffia hoola skirts for a wall border and bedskirt. For the windows add a patterned fabric bringing some of the same to the bed for accent pillows then add another inexpensive interesting window treatment. Use a vinyl pull down shade adding a band of fabric along the edge. Incorporate a sisal rug add ing a leopard or cheeta print banding around the edges. Use an artificial fig tree in a large clay pot that you can sponge paint for added texture. Frame a mirror and picture frames with bamboo.

Answer: We put netting over the bed which of course has a tiger print comforter with matching off-white sheets and a black bedskirt. We then tied back the netting with faux vines. Pier 1 sells beaded bamboo curtains for doorways which we actually hung on the walls around the room. We bought some green ivy leis from our local party supply store and put those up as a border along the ceiling. I then bought some twigs from the craft store and stuck them in here and there throught the leis. From the craft store I also bought fern leaves and pasted them in two corners on the ceiling. Under those I used some brown material purchased at the fabric store to make the trees which I pasted on the walls. It gives a great 3-D effect! You can also go to Oriental Trading Company to buy some cheap parrots, monkeys, etc to set up around the room.

Answer: Can either of you draw jungle animals? If so you and her can draw/sketch out a animal mural and the paint it on one of her walls. As for the curtains and things just try making your own patterns by sewing them/embrodery. Or maybe get some animal designs to iron on there and do.
