Question: Would it look okay to have my foyer floor an orange-y golden oak and on one side have the living room a light brown oak, and on the opposite side have the dining room a different shade. Help!!

Answer: It would be better to have a different surface altogether, like putting tile or marble/limstone floor in foyer. Is there a reason all the wood cannot be sanded down and re stained all the same color?
