| Answer:
Go to your local paint store and ask them. You will most likely need to prime first before painting it. You can also try and online search using "painting laminate countertop" or try the HGTV web site and search there. |

| Answer:
You can paint laminate countertops. Your paint store will probably offer a couple of selections as they each sell their own "SPECIAL" products. The key is a bonding primer. Be sure that you use a product called TSP prior to painting. It is a degreaser. Follow manufacturers suggestions and prime. I persoanlly dont sand my cabinets if they are in general good condition. I also feel that using a SPRAY paint with a texture promotes better adhesion and offers an expensive textured look. If imperfections happen(scratches) they arent as noticable. If you opt for a smooth finish then go with an enamle paint. Very durable and can be tinted to your color preferance. Cathy |
