You can also lay out the pictures on the floor right below the wall they're going on and keep re-arranging until it looks right to your eye. Too many small frames on a big wall will probably look awkward, so you might have to get a larger frame that has opening for several photos in one frame. Do a web search about hanging art or photo on walls for more ideas. I like these photo walls in stairwells and halls best to get that gallery look. Check out Pottery Barn online, they usually have photos of rooms with lots of frames.
