Title of Question:
plaid sofas |
|
Question: What color can I put on my walls, or wallpaper, etc, when my two couches are a plaid with Navy, touch of deep hunter green and beige. I have library oak paneling halfway up the walls and all oak around the fireplace. Couches are outdated but only about 5 years old and in excellent shape, so can't replace. Room is fairly large. Need help with wall treatment. |

| Answer:
I would maybe go with a beige that would compliment the couch and the oak on the walls. You might want to think about a sofa cover, then you are open to many color options for wall treatments. Good luck and have fun. |

| Answer:
I agree with Pat. And painting the walls beige will also bring out more of the sofas color toning down the more dominant colors. Consider a beigetone color for your throw pillows as well. I always purchase large furniture pieces in a plain colored fabric. Much easier and cheaper to change out a few accessories, throw pillows and candles to achieve a totally fresh new look for the room. |
