Question: As most of my home has a red-burgundy carpet and I cannot afford to replace it at this time, want ideas for color schemes that will go well with the carpet. |

What about a oriental look with red, gold and black. Oriental assecories, You could find beautiful area rugs with those colors in them |

The carpet will be a very strong element in each room, so you might want to tone the rest of the room down with some neutrals. Black and white in a family room or living room or a neutral taupe/khaki/beige for upholstered pieces. |

We just put a family room on and I chose the burgundy carpet - I love it, but don't know what to use for furniture! I think light browns/neutrals with some blue thrown in would be nice. |
