Here you will find all the items needed to create a floral arrangement, along with Jennifer’s key/inspiration fabric to the left of the photo. In choosing flowers for your arrangement look for colors that complement your décor and that fit the following criteria (Picture 2,3,4). I purposely purchased flowers that were not terribly expensive or high-end silks to keep the cost of the project down. You can control the cost by carefully choosing items that are reasonable. After all, it’s the overall effect and impact we’re after.

Container, foam, hot glue gun, wire cutters, wire/pics (optional) florals and greenery.

Most every floral arrangement will include florals that are considered “line flowers.” These are the florals that are stalk-like or have a linear design to them. Look at the flowers I chose for this purpose. There are lots of varieties and colors available, so your selections could vary quite a bit, but keep in mind that you want them for height and to help the arrangement develop a shape or style.

This picture shows you the next element in the floral arrangement, the “mass flowers.” They are the flowers used for the main impact and show of the arrangement. I chose daisies, hydrangea, tulips and daisy mums.

Most arrangements will need “fillers.” This can be a small flower like baby’s breath as well as greenery. I have a little of both on hand for filling in as needed. Greenery can be added at the beginning or at the end of making your arrangement. I have done it both ways, but am showing it at the end, so you can better see the arrangement develop.
