Here are some quick tips to give your home a lived in comfortable look for your family. 

  1. Cut flowers from your yard or bought bunches from the grocery store, displayed in a pretty vase will perk up any room and add a sense of friendliness and happiness.

  2. Gather at least three personal belongings that are related in subject or event and display them with style. We all enjoy having our favorite objects and memories around us. 

  3. Stack your favorite books on tables, bookcases, shelves, ottomans, dresser tops etc. This is a wonderful trick for creating a cozy, comfortable atmosphere.

  4. Frame and display your favorite snap shots around your home.

  5. Add a throw, blanket, quilt, afghan on a chair or sofa for snuggling and keeping your feet warm.
