5 - New Looks for Old Doors
Give finesse to a plain-Jane door by making it into a four or six panel door.  Purchase chair rail molding from the home improvement store and cut them to form the square frames.  You will need a miter box to create the mitered corners for each panel frame.  Nail the molding to the door in the desired places.  Sink the nails and fill the holes with wood putty.  Prime and paint the entire surface of the door.   You can use all types of painting techniques to create wonderful aged looks and decorating accents.  Have fun and use your imagination!!!

6 - Design a Theme Room
Pulling together a theme room may be easier than you think.  Walk through your home looking for similar objects.  Perhaps you have a collection of seascapes, shells, dozens of teacups, a family of baskets, wooden boxes, hats, old sporting equipment, garden elements, animal accessories, circus memorabilia, travel souvenirs, toys, childhood keepsakes, family heirlooms and so on and on it goes.  Consolidate everything into one room and group collectibles into eye dazzling arrangements.  Use your collection as an inspiration for the walls, fabrics, artwork, additional accessories etc.  Before you know it, you will have a fabulous theme room!
